Robert Morris Inn

Built in 1710 as the home of Robert Morris who gained fame as “Financier of the Revolution.” General and later President George Washington was a close friend and visited Robert Morris often. Roberts Cottage

The Roberts Cottage is a typical 1890’s working class Waterman’s Cottage.

It has been restored to its original size as a vacation cottage rental. Prior to restoration it had been unoccupied for 28 years and was located on the street front. In 2002 the cottage was moved back approximately 30 feet from the street front and completely restored.
