Area shoppers and connoisseurs of fine crafts look forward to Evergreen Easton’s “Handmade from the Heart” every year. Evergreen will celebrate its 19th year of promoting local artists’ work with a day and a half of gorgeous art and scrumptious home-baked treats. The event kicks off on Friday, December 6 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and continues through Saturday, December 7th from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Refreshments and a cash wine bar including mulled wine and hot cider will be available on Friday night with an music performed while shoppers browse the show. On Saturday, a selection of hand-baked goods will be for sale in addition to the artisans’ offerings.
Something beautiful happens when you support local artists and craftspeople–you strengthen your community and ensure that creative people continue to look to the Eastern Shore as a healthy and desirable area. Keeping money in our community closes a loop, adds vibrancy, and strengthens bonds.
“Handmade from the Heart” will take place at Evergreen’s idyllic center at 770 Port Street in Easton, just past the Londonderry Retirement Community.
