38th Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival

Chesapeake Music holds its 38th annual Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival for two weekends, June 9-11 and June 15-17, at the Ebenezer Theater in downtown Easton. The program of six remarkable and diverse concerts promises to delight, surprise, and engage you. The festival opening extravaganza features works by Mozart, Wiancko, and Brahms, followed by a light reception following the concert.

You can also see the artists perform during FREE open rehearsal on Wednesday, June 7 and 14 at 10:00 a.m.

This year’s juror for the Members` Exhibition is Peter Nesbett, an art historian, curator, designer, and editor. He is currently the Director of the Mitchell Art Museum at St. John’s College in Annapolis, which, along with AAM, is one of five nationally accredited art museums in the state of Maryland. Previously, he worked at Christie’s and Gagosian Gallery (New York), the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Washington Project for the Arts. He holds an MA in art history from the University of Washington and a BA in Visual Studies from Cornell University. We are thrilled to welcome him here this Friday for the opening of the Members` Exhibition!
