David Massey has been writing, recording and performing original “Americana” music in the Washington DC area for more than 15 years. David’s songs are a blend of folk, rock, country, bluegrass and blues that have received strong reviews and radio play throughout the US and Europe. (Rootstime wrote “Massey manages, with his storytelling, to blow away celebrities such as John Prine, James McMurtry, Todd Snider and others that have preceded him.”) David and his good friends and band mates Jason Byrd and Jim Robeson, along with a stellar cast of other Washington-area musicians, have independently released three CDs, and play regularly in DC area bars and music venues.
David Massey released his new CD October 30th entitled Late Winter Light. The benefit concert Saturday, November 17th at the Oxford Community Center is his first public performance highlighting the new album.
Presented by: Oxford Community Center, The Talbot County Arts Council and the Maryland State Arts Council.
