Fall is the time when we yearn for snuggling in sweaters, we gear up for pumpkin patches and we sip on apple cider. The autumn months are a perfect time to visit St. Michaels for a romantic retreat or a family get away.
The kick off for the celebrations of our Fall into St. Michaels special events is the 37th Annual Fireman’s Auction, on Sunday, October 15th starting at 1:00 p.m. The event will be held at Awful Arthur’s Seafood & Oyster Bar with indoor and outdoor venues, multiple bars, and new and exciting silent and live auction items.
On Saturday, October 21, the Annual pumpkin carving, pie baking contest and scarecrow contest will be held in the St. Michaels Community Center on Railroad Avenue. Stop by and vote for all your favorites, then grab a slice or two of pie, all proceeds benefit the St. Michaels Community Center! Pumpkin Carving is from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (closed for visitors about 1/2 hour to hour at 1:00 pm for judging). Judging will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Jack Russell Races on Sunday will take place at the Inn at Perry Cabin front lawn at 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
