Frederick Douglass on The Hill Mural Unveiling

A community celebration will take place on Saturday, September 4, at Idlewild Park in Easton beginning at 11 a.m. This event concludes with the unveiling of the Operation Frederick Douglass on The Hill Mural.

Speakers for the event include the Major Baron N. Hopkins Sr., Kevin Green, great-great grandson of Frederick Douglass, and Kenneth Morris Jr., great-great-great grandson. Musical entertainment will be provided by Push Play and a host of other entertainers.

Community Celebration will take place 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 115 Idlewild Park, Easton

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: 3:30 p.m. at 505 South Street, Easton
