Tred Avon Players opens 2016 season with a classic thriller!
The Tred Avon Players launch their 2016 season in February with “The House on the Cliff,” a classic mystery/comedy, at the Oxford Community Center. Directed by Jay Juppe, the play opens February 11 and runs through February 21.
“The House on the Cliff,” written by George Batson, is set in a remote house overlooking one of the Great Lakes. It features a small but alluring cast of characters: a fragile heiress confined to a wheelchair, her blonde and beautiful stepmother, a suave doctor, an irritable housekeeper, a vivacious nurse, and a handsome, young physician. From the opening curtain, the audience is treated to a series of strange and inexplicable events that lead to a shocking climax.
TAP veterans Rob and Lynn Sanchez play Dr. Lane and Nurse Pepper, respectively, while Lauren Spyker takes on the role of heiress Ellen. Kimberly Cox plays Karen, the stepmother, Toby Scrupski handles the part of housekeeper Jenny, and Michael Valliant plays Dr. Phillips.
