Tinsmith is a high-energy folk band playing traditional music of Ireland, Scotland and Appalachia. They will be performing as part the Carpe Diem Arts lunchtime programming series @ Brookletts Place. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this FREE concert at the Talbot County Senior Center.
The band features Rowan Corbett (guitar, bones, irish bouzouki, vocals) who is a current member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops and also tours with Rhiannon Giddens, Brooke Parkhurst (tinwistle, banjo, guitar, flute, vocals) — Rima Parkhurst’s daughter! — and Henry Cross (bass, vox), a founding member of Big Village. Tinsmith has been making audiences dance since 1997.
