The Friends of the Talbot County Free Library and the Chesapeake Film Festival present, “Great Dames”, a film series in honor of Gov. Hogan’s declaration of 2020’s Year of the Woman. The Year of the Woman marks the 100th anniverary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which awarded women the right to vote. This movie series will provide films that honor women’s suffrage in America. All films are free and open to the public and will be shown at the Easton Library Branch.
