About Third Haven Friends Meeting
Since 1684, members of the Religious Society of Friends, also known as Quakers, have met in what is now one of the country’s oldest frame houses of worship. Many well-known individuals, including William Penn and Lord Baltimore, worshipped here. The meeting grounds also include a brick Greek Revival-style meeting house dating to 1880, as well as old-growth trees and a historic cemetery. Visitors are welcome, and group tours are available on request.
