About Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Museum
This 70-acre facility houses an impressive collection of vintage industrial machinery and agricultural equipment, all in working condition, and displayed in a dozen buildings around the property. The Rural Life Museum contains a general store and farmhouse kitchen, while a Machine Shop Museum displays early 20th century line shaft-driven machine tools.
Other buildings feature gas and oil engines, steam engines, and antique farm equipment. There's also a working saw mill and a Plymouth industrial locomotive. Open during special events, including the annual Steam & Gas Show, and the first Saturday of the month, May to November.
