Bombadil “Dancing in Color”

In this collaboration between the folk-pop band Bombadil and contemporary dancer Madison Rivis, Madison has choreographed movements for herself and the band using their latest album “In Color” as inspiration. Bombadil in turn taught Madison how to play and sing the songs.
During the show, the three members move seamlessly from instruments to dancing. Costume changes highlight the lyrics and movements of the show. There are hip-hop dance routines with drum loops and quiet ballads with precise gestures inspired by the Martha Graham technique.
Expect three-part harmony, tap-dancing, and stories about gardening and being a parent in this unique evening of entertainment.
