This year’s juror for the Members` Exhibition is Peter Nesbett, an art historian, curator, designer, and editor. He is currently the Director of the Mitchell Art Museum at St. John’s College in Annapolis, which, along with AAM, is one of five nationally accredited art museums in the state of Maryland. Previously, he worked at Christie’s and Gagosian Gallery (New York), the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Washington Project for the Arts. He holds an MA in art history from the University of Washington and a BA in Visual Studies from Cornell University. We are thrilled to welcome him here this Friday for the opening of the Members` Exhibition!

Kayakers from #FerryBridgeHouse explore the intriguing ruins of the St. John`s Chapel of St. Michael`s Parish. Dating back to 1835, this Gothic Revival granite church was a pioneering structure on the Eastern Shore. Abandoned in 1895, it now stands as a poignant testament to the rich history of this remarkable region.
