The Van Williamson Trio at Plein Air Easton

The Van Williamson Trio, featuring Bob Abbott, bass, and Dean Haemel, drums, has been playing on the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond for many years. Each member has played with a variety of jazz, rock, and other ensembles, including Los DayTrippers, the Music Pilgrim Trio, the Chest Pains, Movin and Groovin, the Delmarva Big Band, the Bay Jazz Project, the NoNo Nonette, the Seth Kibel Quartet, and many others. The group members have appeared at the Rehoboth Jazz Festival, the New Deal Cafe, the Kennedy Center, NPR, the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council, the Rehoboth Art League, the Avalon Theatre, the Federal Street Concert Series, the Leonardtown Jazz and Seafood Festival, and dozens of clubs and restaurants over the years. The trio has performed at the Plein Air Easton Festival for several years.
