Talbot County Garden Club invites you to the second of its free winter lectures with EVA MONHEIM of Verdant Earth Educators, LLC, Glenside, PA. Monheim teaches “Woody Plants” as a faculty member for the Professional Horticulture Program and Continuing Education Department at Longwood Gardens. She was previously assistant professor at Temple University where she taught hundreds of students who are now leaders in the horticulture industry. In this presentation, Eva shares the multiple functions that each shrub plays of which we are most likely unaware when we plant them. Th e more we know about their functions, she says, the more likely we are to team up with the right plants to do the heavy lifting in the environment!
