Plein Air Easton – Collector’s Preview Party

This is a ticketed event: The Collectors’ Preview Party offers the first opportunity to see the entire competition show. Fifty-eight juried artists from all over the United States will have painted throughout Talbot County for a week and will select their two best works to exhibit and compete for thousands of dollars in prizes and career-defining recognition. The Collector’s Preview Party is the celebratory unveiling of this exclusive collection. Enjoy the company of friends, have a glass of wine, and converse with the participating artists.
Purchase tickets in advance for Friday evening’s Collector’s Preview Party so you’ll be among the first to see the competition paintings for the first time in the acclaimed Academy Art Museum. Stay for the awards ceremony (Plein Air Easton Headquarters) that evening when competition judge Jove Wang, will announce his selections for this year’s winners.
A painting sells every 45 seconds for 90 minutes, so ready your wallet and prepare to take home a piece of history. A directly* purchased ticket for this event applies toward your art purchases all weekend at the Academy Art Museum and the PAE Headquarters (situated directly across the street from one another in downtown Easton) – think of it as a deposit already paid on your next work of art.
