Every February, downtown Easton transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland — with glowing fire pits, dazzling ice sculptures, live music, and warm community spirit — at the Chesapeake Fire & Ice Festival. The 2026 event kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 and concludes on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m.

What to Expect

The Chesapeake Fire & Ice Festival features ice sculptures, fire performances, live music, and much more. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a winter weekend in Talbot County.

Festivities kick-off on Friday evening, where attendees can explore Easton through a self-guided walking tour of the original ice sculpture creations. Maps are available from the Easton Visitor Center at 11 S. Harrison St. Artists will also be at work creating sculptures on site.

Area restaurants taking part in the weekend’s Fire Trail are offering specialty items and cocktails along ice corn hole and shuffleboard.

Throughout the weekend, children can enjoy themed activities.
