Pedal the shore at Tour de Talbot, a scenic cycling showcase linking waterfront roads, historic towns, and quiet country lanes for riders of every level.
Three SAG-supported distance rides are available, including a 30, 40, or 62.5 miles. Make it a weekend with nearby dining, galleries, and overnight stays.

What to Expect
Tour de Talbot is a celebration of cycling on quiet country lanes and waterfront byways. It welcomes cyclists with friendly support, scenic views, and small-town hospitality from start to finish.
Routes and Distances
Choose from multiple route options so everyone can find the right challenge. Well-marked courses, downloadable GPX files, and printed cue sheets help you navigate with confidence. Most routes are open to traffic, so riders should follow the rules of the road and ride single file when required.
Rider Perks and Support
Expect thoughtfully stocked rest stops with snacks, fruits, and beverages. SAG vehicles and course volunteers keep riders safe and on track.
Route Highlights
Courses showcase postcard views of creeks, farms, and historic town centers. Flat terrain with gentle rollers makes for steady spinning and time to enjoy the scenery. Watch for waterfront overlooks, shaded tree tunnels, and classic Eastern Shore vistas that make photo stops irresistible.
Packet Pickup and Pre-Ride
Packet pickup is available at the Easton Fire Hall the evening before or morning of the race. Advanced pick-up is encouraged to avoid a crowd the morning of the race. Arrive early for parking, warm-up, and any route briefings that cover safety reminders and last-minute updates.
Registration and Schedule
This is a ticketed event but limited registration is available on site. Wave starts, route cutoffs, and field sizes vary by year. Visit the event website for the full schedule, route details, current pricing, and any charity partners. Popular distances can sell out quickly due to limited capacity.
Make a Weekend of It
Turn your ride into an Eastern Shore getaway. Stroll walkable downtowns, browse galleries and boutiques, and refuel at coffee shops and seafood spots near the start and finish. Consider a sunset spin, a museum visit, or a scenic byway drive for an easy recovery day.
Accessibility and Rider Tips
Helmets are required for all participants. Front and rear lights are recommended for visibility, even during daylight hours. Pack sunscreen and a spare tube, and review the route notes.
