Gin 101: The Art of Gin Infusion
Join us at the Avalon Lobby Bar for Gin 101 with McClintock Distilling Company, an award-winning organic distillery located in Frederick, Maryland.

The class will be led by Braeden Bumpers, Co-Founder and Head Distiller of McClintock Distilling. Braeden has more than a decade of experience in the craft spirits industry and has helped build McClintock into an award-winning Maryland distillery.
Guests will taste their way through the history of gin, from traditional Dutch genever to modern flavored gins, while learning about the different ingredients, botanicals, processes, and flavors that go into making gin.
After the tasting, everyone will get a chance to make their own custom botanical blend. Each person will take home their blend, an infusion jar, and a bottle of McClintock’s Epiphany Vodka so they can make their own gin at home. McClintock provides the tasting samples, botanicals, materials, and instruction for the class.
Food and additional cocktails will be available for purchase in our Avalon Lobby Bar.
