We had the best visit to this restaurant on May 9, 2026! We sat at the bar and were able to get the full menu. Anthony was our server It was friendly and professional. I enjoyed the Prickly Pear Spritz to drink. My husband ordered the Sunset Salmon and I had the Crab and Shrimp Fried Rice. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! The restaurant is welcoming and has an amazing outdoor section as well! I cannot wait to go back! Check out the pictures!

We had a fabulous meal here! The lobster tempura is superb and and rivals any appetizer in a fine dining restaurant. The crab cakes and other entrees were also excellent. Chef/owner Mauricio is an outstanding and versatile chef with a warm, welcoming, hospitable personality. He and his family are lovely hosts. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick lunch, fancy dinner, or a large special event. We can’t wait to go back to St. Michaels so we can eat here again.

Exceptional Dining Experience in St. Michael's As someone who deeply appreciates a well-executed culinary experience, I can confidently say that our dinner at Talbot Street Tavern last night was absolutely superb—and arguably the absolute highlight of our stay in St. Michael's. From the outset, the kitchen demonstrated an impressive command of flavor. We began with the blackened scallops and the crab guacamole; both starters were simply excellent, striking a beautiful balance of freshness and perfectly calibrated seasoning that set a high bar for the rest of the evening. For the main course, the braised short rib was a triumph. The meat was remarkably tender—truly fork-tender—and served over a bed of rich mashed potatoes, all brought together by a deeply savory, delicious gravy. The presentation was elegant and thoughtful, proving that the kitchen cares as much about visual artistry as they do about flavor profiles. The ambiance only elevated the meal. We dined on the outdoor patio, which offered a lovely, vibrant, and distinctly summery setting, complete with cheerful yellow umbrellas and matching cushions. What truly sets Talbot Street Tavern apart, however, is its hospitality. The service throughout the night was seamless and extremely professional. The owner, Mauricio, and his wife, Josefa, made a point to come out and personally greet us. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness, which was mirrored by the entire serving staff, made us feel incredibly welcome. If you are looking for top-tier food, a beautiful atmosphere, and impeccable service in St. Michael's, this is a must-visit. We will certainly be back.

Great family owned and operated spot in the heart of downtown St. Michael's. The staff are all extremely friendly and efficient. The food is always delicious and nicely presented. There are always great specials. We have enjoyed meals in the dining room, on the patio and at the bar on several occasions. Highly recommend!

We stopped in for a drink to watch a Sunday game and met the owner/chef. After speaking with him about one of his specials of the day and offering to make it for us thee next evening we made a reservation for the following day. We shared the Lobster tempura appetizer which was delicious then shared a broiled seafood platter over risotto which was cooked perfectly and the crab & shrimp fried rice. A perfect last meal during our stay in St. Michael’s.
