The closest restaurant to my hotel was Headwaters Seafood & Grill — and it turned out to be far more than just a place to dine. The moment I walked in, my first concern wasn’t the menu — it was transportation. It was cold, and I wasn’t sure how I would get back to my hotel later that evening. When I asked about it, the response wasn’t dismissive or rushed. It was genuine. They cared. That immediately shifted the energy for me. Because of that warmth, I chose to stay and dine in rather than take my meal to go. The hospitality professional who assisted me was gracious, attentive, and patient. I don’t eat red meat, so I had a few questions about the seafood selections. She answered thoughtfully and guided me with confidence and care. I ordered the blackened salmon with green beans and carrots. It was flavorful, well-prepared, and exactly what I hoped for. The sauce was served on the side as requested, which I appreciated. My drink was crafted well — refreshing and smooth. But what elevated this experience beyond the plate was the level of humanity. I sat for over 40 minutes attempting to secure an Uber or Lyft, but nothing came through. After traveling internationally and returning to the States, it felt strange to be unable to access transportation. And it was freezing outside. She did not rush me. She encouraged me to relax. She checked in consistently. And then she did something rare. She drove me back to my hotel herself. That level of care is not standard. That is character. Only later did I learn that she is the daughter of the owner — her family owns the restaurant. That explains the pride, the responsibility, and the heart behind the service. Today she is taking her cosmetology exam, and I wish her tremendous success. When you move with integrity and kindness, it returns to you. Headwaters did not just serve excellent seafood. They provided safety. They provided dignity. They made it clear that guests are valued as people, not transactions. That matters. Thomas DisneyOne of the best seafood restaurants I have been to this year. The food was cooked perfectly, although a little under seasoned, but still tasted good. The service was impeccable. The server was very nice. The restaurant was clean. I will absolutely go back. Can't wait to try some of the other food

Betty MisenerOur first visit here and the food and service was great. Brittney Brandy took care of us and she was super! We had apps of Tuna Tostada and Fried Spanish Olives. Both were delicious and I could eat that Tuna dish everyday! We also had the Build your Burger and the Cuban sandwich. Both were cooked to perfection. Flavor combinations really complement each other.

DJ JuiceService and atmosphere were above average. We had salmon and mahi tacos which were excellent The seafood gumbo I felt could have been a little better. We will definitely be back for around 2 and give another review.
