Wow what a gem! The atmosphere is so chill, the food is fantastic and we loved our waitress Kelly! Will definitely come back!
Aug 8, 2026 · Google ReviewI had the sausage gravey and biscuts with breakfast potatoes. I would definitely recommend them.
Aug 2, 2026 · Google ReviewGood food, good coffee, and dog friendly. Crab cake Benedict was great. My son said his chocolate chip waffle was good as well. Best of all, they have a nice garden seating area in the back which my dog loved.
Aug 1, 2026 · Google ReviewCame here because it was close to where we were staying and I’m so glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and worked so well as a team during the breakfast rush communicating calmly and helping each other out. The food was also amazing. Best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely eat here again when I’m back to visit next. Make sure to make a reservation if you’re a group of 5+.
Jul 26, 2026 · Google ReviewThey’re not joking around when they said ‘best breakfast on the Eastern Shore’!! You’re wasting your trip to St Michaels or Tilghman Island if you don’t come here for breakfast/lunch at least once.
Jul 24, 2026 · Google ReviewTwo If By Sea is exactly the kind of place we hope to stumble across while traveling—so good that we came back a second time before leaving the Eastern Shore. At first glance, it's a small, casual breakfast and lunch spot on the road to Tilghman Island. Step inside, though, and you'll discover two cooks turning out remarkably good food at an impressive pace. Even when the restaurant was full, both the kitchen and the service were quick and efficient. On our first visit I ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict, and they were easily the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. The crab imperial was packed with fresh Maryland blue crab, the jumbo eggs were perfectly poached with firm whites and beautifully runny yolks, and the hollandaise complemented everything without overpowering the crab. I asked if they could serve the hollandaise on the side, fully expecting the answer to be no. Our server laughed and said they normally don't do that, but apparently they were feeling generous that morning. I appreciated the accommodation. Then we made the mistake of reading the specials. For "dessert" we ordered the Black Forest Pancakes. The pancakes were obviously made from scratch—light, fluffy, tender, and full of flavor. Topped with chocolate sauce and black cherries, they were an absolute showstopper. We enjoyed the meal so much that we returned a few days later. This time I ordered the Crab Grilled Cheese with Chesapeake Tater Tots. I expected ordinary frozen tater tots with Old Bay sprinkled on top. I couldn't have been more wrong. The tots were clearly homemade, with the Chesapeake seasoning incorporated into the potatoes themselves before they were fried. The grilled cheese was even more impressive. The Texas toast was perfectly toasted, somehow holding together all that rich crab imperial without the filling squeezing out the sides with every bite. I'd genuinely love to know how they pulled that off. My wife ordered the Maryland Fried Chicken on homemade biscuits with bacon gravy. The biscuits were tender yet sturdy enough to hold together, the chicken was juicy with a wonderfully crisp crust, and the bacon gravy tied everything together beautifully. Honestly, after tasting hers, I wished we'd had time for a third visit so I could order it myself. The restaurant's personality is just as memorable as the food. Their T-shirts proudly say, "Order what you want. Eat what you get." The menu makes it very clear that substitutions aren't part of the program. You can order whatever you like—but you'll receive it exactly as the kitchen intends it to be served. After two outstanding meals, I completely understand why. I even bought one of the shirts. If you're headed to Tilghman Island or visiting Sharps Island Light, make this a stop. Just be sure to check their hours before you go—they're primarily a breakfast and lunch restaurant, with extended lunch service on weekends. Some restaurants earn repeat business. Two If By Sea earned ours in less than a week.
