MichelleMy husband and I just stayed at The Oaks for a quick overnight get away and it was wonderful. Right from the start, as we arrived, we admired the beautifully kept grounds. Meticulously manicured lawns and landscaping were so lovely. Then, as we entered into the hotel, we were warmly greeted and welcomed. We were given a quick tour and shown our room. So kind and friendly. Next, we had a little drink at the bar while we were waiting to leave for a reservation in downtown Easton. Super tasty cocktails! And the manager offered to arrange for us to use their shuttle for our drive to and from dinner. Our driver was awesome, so accommodating and friendly. Our room was so clean and relaxing. So comfortable! And then to finish up with a super delicious breakfast the next morning while enjoying the view.. it couldn’t have been a better night away for us. We are already planning to go back with our grown children, they will love it too! Thanks so much!

Beyond the stunning site, the staff is simply outstanding—their remarkable service is a direct reflection of the owners' exceptional leadership. Interestingly, this welcoming culture naturally attracts wonderful guests, creating an environment where everyone brings a positive, shared energy to the experience. Five stars for the beauty, the tranquility, and the incredible people. Food and everything else is gourmet level, not just creative but delicious!

Joe CarrilloWe decided to spend a few days in St Michael’s Island and found The Oaks Waterfront Hotel. My goodness the stay was outstanding, from the moment we arrived and checked in with Linda and Terry’s tour of the property. Everyone we encountered were knowledgeable about the property and unbelievably friendly staff. Sitting on the pier with the amazing cocktails that our bartender made (I wish I could remember his name), nightcaps on the deck and the delicious breakfast. I had the tostada which was probably one of the best versions of huevos rancheros I have ever had. The Belgian waffles, French toast outstanding. It is truly a gem of a hotel. It’s clear it’s operated well and it was spotless. Lived the heated floors in the bathrooms. Wow, who would have thought that would be such a highlight! The complementary shuttle service was the biggest add! The only regret we had was not having dinner at the hotel. But we will definitely be back. Thank you for an outstanding experience!

Jenna HardestyWe stayed at The Oaks for our wedding weekend, and everything was absolutely perfect. Our wedding itself was a dream, but the entire stay was just as special. The accommodations are beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, and every guest who stayed on property loved it so much. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful, and the service is truly top notch. The property is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully kept, with such a perfect waterfront setting. All of the amenities on property are fantastic, and the on-property restaurant, The Oak Room, is wonderful. The location is also ideal — close to both Easton and St. Michaels, while still feeling private and tucked away. Everything about The Oaks is perfect, and we are so grateful we got to spend such an important weekend there. We cannot recommend it enough.

From the moment we arrived, the service was truly exceptional—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely personalized. The cottages were spectacular—beautifully designed, private, and incredibly comfortable. It felt like a luxury retreat, but still warm and inviting. One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to bring our dog, which made the experience even more special. The food was outstanding—every meal was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. On top of that, the complimentary car service into town was such a great touch and made exploring St. Michaels effortless. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-end getaway with amazing service, great food, and pet-friendly accommodations, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!
