We had a wonderful experience at Ava’s in St. Michaels! We ordered the Mushroom thin-crust pizza, penne ala vodka pasta with shrimp, caprese panini, and beignets, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and flavorful! A special shoutout to our waiter, Kris, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Combined with a beautiful day exploring Oxford Beach and taking the ferry, Ava’s was the perfect stop. Amazing food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

We had a good experience at Ava’s Pizzeria overall. The meatballs, warm olives, and meat lover’s pizza were all very good, and the drinks made for a great meal. Eric provided outstanding service….friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. That said, the dog situation was a real downside. Dogs are allowed inside, and we were seated next to a guest with a dog that was shedding heavily. There was dog hair visibly floating in the air, which was honestly pretty gross while eating. At one point, the dog was on her lap near the table while she was petting it, sending even more hair into the air. Later, another dog came in and the barking between them made things even more disruptive. The food and service are strong, but this took away from the experience. If you go, I’d strongly recommend being mindful of where you’re seated.

Yuuuummmmmmm!!!!!! We had such a great experience here. Shout out to Katie the bar tender :) The wine, pizza, and cheesecake were just extraordinary. Katie was very attentive and gave perfect recommendations. The only thing I will add is that at some point, a manager came over and reviewed a really long check list of to-do items. Frankly, it dampened the mood. I don’t think it’s appropriate to do it right by the patrons and also without acknowledging us.

We stopped into Ava’s Pizzeria for lunch today and had a great experience. We sat on their covered patio with our dog, which was perfect for a relaxed meal. Our waitress, Faith, was excellent — super personable, attentive, and her customer service really exceeded expectations. We shared the Caesar salad and the Pig Pen pizza (Detroit style). We’re usually thin-crust fans, but we were in the mood to try something different and it did not disappoint. The pizza had great flavor and we really enjoyed it. Overall, everything was solid and the service was outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area!

We had an amazing lunch at Ava's this week! Got the topless blonde beer to start per their rec, was so good. Then had the chef's salad with peach and walnuts, the pizza with caramelized onions/basil/pepperoni, and their "award winning" fries. Everything was so freakin delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Can't wait to come back to St. Michaels just to have lunch here again.
