Date night at Bas Rouge 🍷 An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Tailor’s dessert cocktails were absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the evening. Our server Anna was completely on point—warm, attentive, and precise. Philippe’s thoughtfully curated wine selections paired beautifully with each course, elevating the entire experience. And Alex, the manager, was—as always—exceptional, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Outstanding service, incredible food, and a night that truly felt special. You must try date night here.
Feb 6, 2026 · Google ReviewWonderful dining experience! I first learned of this place when they won a James Beard Award in 2024, but wasn’t able to eat here until yesterday. Excellent food, both in taste and visual presentation (bravo chef, and thank you for the meet & greet). Excellent service, thank you Shawna for being so kind, explaining the menu, and making us feel warm and special. Bread/water guy (sorry didn’t catch your name) was also always on it refilling water, and offering bread without being asked. Alex, also gets a shout out for the service and attention! All the variety of breads and butter (esp the ramp/onion butter) were delicious, chicken/truffle tortellini app, crab salad, lamb entree, dover sole entree, pear/yuzu dessert, strawberry cake were my favorites. Thank you also for the birthday treat :) we will be back again!
May 16, 2026 · Google ReviewFrom the minute we stepped inside i knew it was gonna be a special dinner. The staff is very attentive and doesn't miss a beat. The place is so pretty. And the food was good. I like the pay one price for either 3 or 4 course dinner. And the option to have wine pairings if you choose. They were a bit slow inbetween courses. But I think they did that intentionally. Im only complaining cause our reservation was for 7:45. So we started a bit later than usual.
Mar 17, 2026 · Google ReviewDid chefs tasting menu. Expect to pay for it. If you enjoy quality ingredients with complex nuances, go for it. If you want to be fed a good meal, go for all a carte menu.
Jun 7, 2026 · Google ReviewFirst time experience was very nice. I would put this restaurant in line with the charleston in Baltimore as far as quality of food and service. I had the salmon and it was delicious. I don't remember exactly what the first thing we were given was called. It was like a soup with caviar(?). It was phenomenal.
