Black Walnut Point Fishing Area and Parking
Black Walnut Point Natural Resources Management Area (NRMA) is located on the southern tip of Tilghman Island in Talbot County. The 53-acre site is operated by the Maryland Park Service.
A privately operated bed and breakfast, the Black Walnut Point Inn, is located on a 6-acre portion of the property and is not open for general public visitation.
Visitors to the NRMA will enjoy walking along the gravel road and paths with excellent views across the Chesapeake Bay toward the western shore. A wide variety of ducks and other bird species can be observed, including osprey and bald eagles which are both noted for building nests in the area.
Fishing is available for a variety of brackish water species including rockfish, perch and bluefish. Pets are permitted.

We love coming here! It's not just a great place to fish, it's picturesque and the family has such a great time. There are port-a-pots available for use but no other public restrooms for those that might be wondering.
