I hired Dede and team for my wedding at the Tidewater Inn in October 2024 and they absolutely nailed my florals. When I first reached out to Dede for a quote, I remember she asked if we could set up a Zoom call to discuss my vision. This stuck out to me because no other vendor had asked me to do this. As soon as I got on the call I completely understood why she asked for this because she really takes the time to get to know the couples and your vision for the day. I had mentioned that my fiance was from Ireland and she immediately mentioned some flowers that are known to that region that we could incorporate. It was such a sweet touch that I hadn't even thought of. When the big day came and I saw my bouquet, I was almost brought to tears as it was better than I could have ever imagined. That feelings continued as I saw the ceremony and reception space. People were blown away by the arrangements she made to the point that my bridesmaids took their bouquets home and a guest took flowers from one of the center pieces. Hire her immediately!

The work done by Dede and Chesapeake Blooms was pure perfection. Dede took my daughter's vision of a Boho/Rustic Micro Wedding and gave us something we could never have imagined. The table scapes and candles were so beautiful in the evening. We had 3 young children at the reception and Dede hid felt fairies and animals throughout for them to find. So special. The brides bouquet had details of greens from delicate ferns to eucalyptus and blue thistle that created a vision of soft loveliness. Words can not describe the artistry of their work. If you want pure perfection that will make you smile choose Chesapeake Blooms.

There are several key factors that warrant a 5-star review — fresh and long-lasting flowers, creativity in arrangements plus attentive staff. I recently ordered flowers for an anniversary and Dede took the time to ask about the flowers and colors that my wife liked. The information was incorporated by she and her colleagues in an exquisite arrangement that lasted over two weeks. We followed up with a bouquet of cut flowers for the Thanksgiving table and the custom-made results were beautiful. The folks at Chesapeake Blooms have a creative eye and the arrangements incorporate a variety of elements that are not the cookie-cutter flowers you get from calling some 1-800 number.
