E RichDecided to treat myself to lunch in Easton and discoverd Docs Downtown Grill. Had rock fish tacos with fries, and then had the audacity to order a gluten free Snickerdoodle with ice cream and whipped cream on it. Also had a nice tea. Everything was delicious and the fish tacos came with guacamole and sour cream. Had to box it up! My server was very nice and the place was pretty empty.When I arrived at is it was just opening, so it was quite peaceful. Highly recommend and would return!

D. LishDoc's Downtown Grille has a really nice setup right in the heart of Easton, and a lot of the traditional American and Eastern Shore pub food coming out of the kitchen looked great. Unfortunately, I made the fatal mistake of ordering the fajitas. To put it mildly, the dish was a complete train wreck. The meat was noticeably overcooked and tough, wrapped in equally stiff, rubbery tortillas. It also came with a separate side plate loaded up with way too much cold, pre-shredded cheese right out of a bag. The side of rice was also a letdown—it definitely wasn't authentic Mexican rice. Ultimately, I should have known better than to order a classic Tex-Mex dish in a town famous for its seafood and blue crabs. If you visit, stick to the burgers, wraps, or local catches and skip the skillet.

chuckWe took out Mom here for dinner. We had the crab dip, vegetable crab soup, fish and chips, wedge salad and the fish tacos. The crab dip was spot on, lots of crab and not too much cheese and the pretzels that it’s served with were a perfect choice. The soup was very good with chunks of jumbo lump in it. The fish with the fish and chips was large and cooked perfectly. The wedge salad was large and very good. The fish tacos were good but the fish was slightly overcooked. Our service was promptly and friendly. We will definitely go back. The only thing I would suggest is for them to move the supplies from the front entrance to the right when you step into the restaurant. It looks sloppy.
