Rooted in a rich history of boat building and boat work, we continue to provide a full-service boat yard and marina today, now updated with modern amenities. With over 50 slips, we offer transient, seasonal, and annual dockage, with electric & water hook up, shower & restroom facilities, WiFi, and ice available 24/7.
We are conveniently located just footsteps away from town, being the closest marina in the harbor to the main town road, Talbot Street. Keith DowningThe price is discounted and the staff was very helpful. The basics for the boat were all more than adequate. Our only issue was with the "amenities". The bathroom/shower facilities BADLY need to be updated, they're just plain gross. Also the wifi didn't work at all out on the docks, which was really disappointing since that was half the reason we chose to stay.

Higgins Yatch Yard has always been accommodating, pleasant, professional and just a pleasure to deal with every time we come here Quiet and convenient for docking and being close to the local shops , restaurants and the historic sites make this a must stop off

Meredith Adams KrissoffWe use Higgins Yacht Yard for numerous reasons including boat storage, boat maintenance/service as well as the Log Canoe Inn for accommodations. The staff/team go above and beyond to make things happen! We love staying here on our boat at the private accommodations of the Log Canoe Inn. The property is so unique because it’s an actual working boatyard! The main pier system is brand new and there is always ice available! We have met so many friendly transients on the weekends too. The boatyard bathroom/showers are always clean and they’re just what we need in order to cleanup for dinner out in St. Michael’s! Also, Higgins is incredibly dog friendly. I also feel like it’s the best location because it’s a dead end street, quiet, but you’re also in the middle of town! The history of the boatyard and Log Canoe Inn is very interesting. We have been coming to Higgins for years and we have seen so many huge improvements to their amenities. Looking forward to see what more is to come!
