STARS Restaurant is located at the Inn at Perry Cabin in Saint Michael’s. In my opinion, this is the absolute best restaurant in Saint Michael’s. We went there for dinner and also brunch and everything was absolutely amazing! Their service is absolutely top-notch, their food is absolutely amazing and the overall experience and setting is top-notch. We sat inside for the brunch and then we sat outside for dinner and the views overlooking the harbor, the outdoor seating with fire pits, it really is a wonderful dining experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, brunch and also dinner.

We loved our experience at Stars. Great wine selection, and every dish was light, creative, and delicious. The crab cakes are a must – and I’m not even a fan of crab generally speaking. Can’t go wrong with a table and a view either!

Been dining at Stars for over 13 years, before it was rebranded. Food is still stellar, although the menu has been simplified. It's a shame the service has not kept up with he qulaity and execution of the dishes.

This is a solid B-minus "fine dining" restaurant serving average food for above-average prices. Now, you can argue that you're paying for the location, but let's be honest — the view isn't going to be that spectacular from your table. (Get a drink at the excellent bar and take it out to the Adirondack chairs facing the water, if that's what interests you.) The food is fine, but not particularly interesting: the same steaks, chops, fish, crab cakes with "fancy" touches that dominate the mainstream. (The appetizers sound a bit more imaginative than the entrees on the menu, but both the mushroom toast and sea bass crudo were pretty underwhelming in person.) The service is friendly but unexceptional: we had to give reminders when certain dishes or drinks didn't appear. The atmosphere definitely scores for being a step above the usual hotel restaurant, but not by much, and the live music was Applebees-level entertainment. I'd rather have no music, thanks. It's all just a little safe, boring, run of the mill. You've been there and done that, and you can get a lot more for $100+ per person — more food, more imagination, more fun. Go elsewhere.

A beautiful location for a beautiful dinner. We came here as our "special night out" while on vacation, and it did not disappoint. While the food is expensive, the presentation and execution of each dish was done so carefully and thoughtfully. My husband had the salmon, and even though it wasn't something he would necessarily order again, he was still over the moon with the entire dinner. It should be noted that our server, Jacob, was the best server either of us ever had. He was thoughtful and patient, and added an extra layer of sophistication to the evening. In fact, it was the same with the entire staff we encountered. The hostess was quick and attentive to seat us as walk-ins on a busy Saturday evening, and our food runners were all courteous and attentive to details as well. The valet parking attendants were phenomenal as well! It was pouring rain when we walked out and that young man stood by the door the entire time to get me and my husband in our vehicle. I will remember extra cash just for this next time even though it is complimentary! All in all- you will spend $$$ but you will feel fantastic while doing so!
