We had a wonderful long-weekend stay and would happily give this property 5 stars! Woody was an engaging, thoughtful, and resourceful host throughout our visit. He knows the area extremely well and was happy to share great recommendations for restaurants, day trips, and things to do. The property itself is truly unique. It feels wonderfully tucked away and private, yet is conveniently located near Cambridge, Oxford, and Easton. The incredible water views were a highlight, and we especially enjoyed taking advantage of the kayaks and launching right from the private beach area. And the breakfasts were outstanding! We really appreciated the creative, multi-course combinations and the interesting flavors Woody put together each morning. It was a memorable part of our stay and a great way to start each day. Overall, this was a special place with a wonderful host, beautiful surroundings, and so many thoughtful touches. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area!

This place is a hidden gem. The room was great (much bigger than what is pictured). Woody and Michelle are phenomenal hosts. Breakfast was too notch each morning. They are so welcoming and fun! They provided wonderful food and activity recommendations. We especially enjoyed Blue Ruin, which is a short drive away. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is very nice. Views are incredible. We had such a memorable time. We will definitely be back. 6+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at the Anchorage Bed & Breakfast! The Skipjack Room was comfortable and charming, and the property has beautiful waterfront views that make it a perfect place to relax. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. We also really enjoyed the great conversations with our host, who made us feel welcome and gave us some excellent local restaurant recommendations. We would definitely recommend the Anchorage and look forward to staying again!

We had the most amazing time at The Anchorage. The room was clean, the property is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed kayaking, the pool and sitting under the pavilion at night watching a storm roll in. Breakfast was served by Woody each morning and it was spectacular- great food with a beautifu view. Woody was attentive and made sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend staying here.

Awesome B&B. Woody is very welcoming and accommodating. He anticipated our every need. The room was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast every morning was delicious and well prepared in a gourmet sort of way. Will definately be coming back!!!!
