I can’t believe I’ve never stopped in earlier! I always passed by and wanted to stop in and finally did today. It’s a bit chaotic inside but it adds to its charm. So many books and most paperbacks are only $1! I bought 5 books for less than $10 and couldn’t believe it.
Apr 7, 2026 · Google ReviewVery cool bookshop! We stopped on a whim because of the neat little sign, and ended up staying a couple of hours! I would have stayed longer, but hubby got hungry. Very unique items, I especially enjoyed the art and children's sections, while hubs spent the whole time in history, and says the owner is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend a visit.

Nov 23, 2025 · Google ReviewI've driven past this place… how many times? What a wonderful store! A chaos of room after room beside room above room, filled with a mix of interesting inexpensive books, expensive rare books, old maps, and the sorts of extras you should find in a book shop. Well worth the visit, and I'll be back!
Mar 12, 2024 · Google ReviewJust off the main road, this bookstore is packed floor to ceiling with every genre you could imagine. Paper signs with arrows point to aisles by genre and type of material. There is a map room upstairs. The owner still uses an old fashioned cash register and you can tell you are in a book lover's den. There is a rare book room in the back left with more expensive items. Books out and around elsewhere ranged from 1$ to 12$ as I looked around (with more variety than that I'm sure). In the archetype of the classic used bookstore, this space may NOT be easy to navigate for those using mobility aids such as a wheel chair depending on width of the item. Signage indicates staff is happy to help pull items off tall shelves, etc. Materials are organized but some stacked atop each other. So if you love digging for treasure and surprises, that's the fit for you. I stumbled on a few things I wouldn't have thought to look for but absolutely had to have.
