My family and I (group of 5) had originally booked with another outfitter for opening weekend of rifle season and there were 17 people on the property and only 2 people killed deer. My uncle was one of the “lucky people” to get tiny deer. We felt let down we spent a lot of money to come to Maryland to hunt. When we got to the butcher shop we felt even more let down seeing all the huge deer hanging around everywhere and we had an embarrassingly small deer so we asked who did they hunt with and they told us about Tidewater. That’s when we called Rennie and decided to cancel some of my families return flights and give tidewater guide service a try. TIDEWATER DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! From the morning we got there Rennie and Jason took us out to our stands and EVERYONE saw deer, most of our group even got to harvest something! Not only was I able to harvest my first deer but it was a huge 9 pointer! They did everything in their power to try to get us on the deer and make us as comfortable as possible. Once we harvested them they trailered our deer to the butcher, got us linked up with a taxidermist and made sure whatever we needed we had it. Will definitely be hunting with them again and would recommend them to anyone!
