While walking through Easton, we were drawn in by a sidewalk poster for Joanne Prager's solo photography exhibition, "EASTERN SHORE LIGHT," and decided to step into the newly opened Zach Gallery. The gallery's interior is spacious and bright with a very contemporary ambiance. Thoughtfully placed benches allow visitors to sit comfortably and appreciate the wonderful works of various sizes—large, medium, and small—displayed on the walls. The lighting and presentation of the entire exhibition were of a very high standard. A special mention must go to the gallery staff member, Dona. She was incredibly friendly and professional, providing a detailed introduction to the artist and the unique characteristics of her work. She enthusiastically discussed the pieces with us, making the experience relaxed and enjoyable, with absolutely no pressure to buy anything. As we were leaving, Dona kindly gave us a map of other galleries in Easton to continue our art tour and warmly reminded us to mind the step at the entrance. Compared to other galleries in Easton, I personally prefer Zach Gallery's approach of hosting themed solo exhibitions for a single artist. It allows for a much deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the creator's vision. Although our time at Zach Gallery was brief, it was an exceptionally comfortable and pleasant experience. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Easton.
