Found this amazing resort in St Michaels, tucked away in this super charming historic seaside town. They've got these gorgeous clay tennis courts that are just perfect. Since most guests are here for golf, you don't even need to book the tennis courts in advance. Plus, they've got night lighting, the facilities are top-notch, and the whole place is just beautifully designed. Right next to the courts, there's this cute little lounge with temperature control, ice water, and towels. After a fun game of tennis, you can take a relaxing walk by the sea, go kayaking, or just listen to the town's historical stories. Such a lovely experience!

We go to the Inn at Perry Cabin annually and the experience is nothing short of amazing each year. They have such a charming location and an incredible restaurant & pub which both have the best crab (we’ve tried all the crab cakes in town). The spa is lovely and the grounds are just the perfect reflection of east coast living. This year I accidentally left my wedding necklace in my room, which was valuable and extremely sentimental. They were prompt to find it and ship it back to me. I am forever grateful to the staff at The Inn at Perry Cabin for keeping such a precious item safe. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🤍

I was hesitant about some of the negative reviews but we absolutely loved our stay! The property and the grounds are stunning and we were happy with our spacious suite as well. Breakfast at the restaurant was lovely and delicious although at this price point should probably be included. Staff was great! Pricey but checked all our boxes for what we were looking for.

Professional couple out of NYC. 3rd stay at hotel. Pleasant but will look otherwise in the future. Goods: Gorgeous, manicured grounds. I’d almost argue unless you go out of your way, their meticulous attention to detail will go unnoticed unless you truly walk around to notice. Polite and personable staff. I’ve always enjoyed my interactions with the front desk and other members of their team. Large Rooms. 3rd stay and we’ve seen 4 different rooms. Three of the four rooms we’ve stayed have been spacious and comfortable. Others: To begin, I wanted to send this review via their automated survey system but after my 4th request for a link this was the alternative. Marketing/Events Team is lacking. 1) Upon arrival the desk communicated live music and a bbq/cocktail event in the back. We found there was no live music, just a playlist, and they were out of their event cocktail halfway through the event. Unfortunately, no one communicated these things to the front desk, and they were passing incorrect information to guests all day long. 2) Our biggest disappointment of the trip was the struggle for the hotel to turn sound on in their bar for the World Cup game(s). We can understand they have existing rules to manage sound and guest experiences but sometimes there just need to be exceptions. It seemed like it took the act of God and multiple guests to request sound on for the USA / Belgium game. This could have been a slam dunk for your events team: pop some popcorn, put up a projector, make some USA themed cocktails, etc. Instead, it felt like a “maybe we can accommodate some sound” in their bar to support the game. FAIL. Unsafe seamanship – We attended their firework boating excursion for the 4th of July fireworks. Unfortunately, we left the dock late due to weather so I’m unclear as to if they actually planned on sailing at all but it was more a ferry ride to anchor and back (kind of pricey just to ferry 1000 yards). I grew up on boats, spent a lot of time on ships, and attended the local “boat” school for undergrad – I was uncomfortable with Captain Jason’s seamanship. 1) The admin organizing groups on the separate boats was disorganized. 2) The old sailboat didn’t seem to carry its own anchor, so they used a support boat to facilitate (I don’t think they’ve practiced this). In setting the anchor we t-boned the support boat and while throwing the anchor both deck hands were handling tangled lines that were under tension (from the anchor!). I was a milli second away from stepping in. 3) Ferrying back to the hotel, in the dark, we were following a sister boat by just 50’. That’s a no-no at night time – or anytime really. 4) It down poured on us ferrying back to the hotel and the Captain pressed to the soaking wet groups to reconvene in the lobby to “settle up.” It was quite clear this was just a way of capturing a tip. To me that felt cheap. We’re paying >$1,000/night and you’re cornering me for gratuity. FAIL AC was broken the 1st of the two-night stay. Mini fridge wreaked of mold. Had it replaced (promptly) first night. Hotel lacks lounge space. If the weather isn’t cooperating the hotel has a very limited number of seats inside to relax. I recommend rearranging your lunch/bar area to function more like a lounge area and leave it open 24/7. This could still be a viable spot to serve but would provide more space for your guests. To me, it’s just wasted space your guests could use when wanting a place to relax indoors. There are some great wins for this hotel but it’s tough to not critique when spending so much per night.
