Upon arrival the room was spotless and a mat, bowl and treats were there for our fur baby Jameson. We will stay again and next time for a longer stay. Absolutely the best!
Aug 7, 2026 · Google ReviewOur stay at the Log Canoe Inn was wonderful! Brittany, the host, was so helpful. We loved the waterfront location and being able to walk to town. It was nice relaxing by the water in the evenings and having our coffee there each morning. The bedding was also very comfortable. We are planning to return again next year.
Aug 2, 2026 · Google ReviewWe highly recommend the Inn! This was our first time staying there and everything is exactly as pictured on the website. It is a great location, only two blocks from the main street but is very peaceful. We stayed in the Island Bird Suite and it was nice having the private entrance and waking up to the view of the harbor. We will definitely stay there again.
Jul 27, 2026 · Google ReviewThe location is perfect. The Log Canoe Inn is right on the water making it a great spot to relax and watch the boats. It’s a short walk to all restaurants and shops. We stayed in Magic, which was great. It was quiet and private as it was separate from the main house. We loved our time in St. Michaels and can’t wait to plan our return trip.
Jul 21, 2026 · Google ReviewWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is spectacular, walking distance to the main street and the maritime museum. The view of the bay from the front porch is breathtaking. A storm rolled through during our stay, and it was so cool to watch it come across the bay from the comfort of the porch. The attention to detail within the room and the main entryway is superior. Thank you so much!
Jul 20, 2026 · Google ReviewFrom the moment we checked in, we were in awe of the accommodations and the details in the room. We were provided toiletries and robes to relax in, and our room, the Island Bird suite, had its own entrance with 2 chairs where my husband and I could unwind after a busy day of walking the shops and seeing the sights. The room was centrally located and once we parked our car Friday afternoon we didn’t have to move it until we checked out Sunday morning. The main great room hosted a large variety of snacks and drinks and a great ice machine on site. We walked to all of the shops, had our meals at a different location every time and all were unique and delicious. We cannot wait to go back.
Jul 13, 2026 · Google ReviewBeautiful property in the middle of everything. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. On a random note, the shower pressure was probably the best I’ve ever experienced.
Jul 1, 2026 · Google ReviewRooms were very clean-you had everything you needed snack’s coffee tea soda juice danish muffins granola yogurt I probably forgot other snacks——plus a lovely sitting with a lovely view I hope to come back😊
Jun 30, 2026 · Google ReviewI can recommend the Log Canoe Inn to anyone thinking of staying in the Saint Michaels area. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location ln is ideal, being on the water, just a short walk to all the stores and restaurants on the main street in St. Michaels. The Inn itself is like taking a step back in time to what it must have been like in the early 1800s, but with the modern amenities to make our stay comfortable. Our room (Oliver’s Gift) was cozy and functional reflecting the room sizes of the day with a remarkably comfortable bed and a wonderful view of the bay. The common front sitting room was very pleasant as well, offering a Keurig machine for fresh coffee at any time of the day, along with fruit, muffins and all sorts of goodies to snack on. The chairs on the front lawn offered a nice venue for our evening cocktail while watching the boats entering and departing the harbor. Our hosts Brittney and Robin, were kind and welcoming. Our stay at The Canoe Inn was a very pleasant experience for us, and I would recommend it to others traveling to this area.
