Log Canoe Inn
The Log Canoe Inn is located on the edge of Carpenter Street, offering an easy walk from Talbot Street. The waterfront property overlooks the Miles River and offers five rooms. Named after the historic Chesapeake Bay sailing log canoes, the historic inn has been renovated and decorated to honor the sailing tradition.
The inn is open year-round. Guests can arrive by boat or utilize their dedicate, on site parking.

Bob CoulterMy wife & I had the most quiet & relaxing stay with Log Canoe Inn at their Skipper's Cottage which is off site of their B&B. It is only 4 miles out of town and very easy to get to. The cottage is all redone beautifully. It has everything you could possibly need. Fully stocked as if you yourself lived there! Close to town for shopping, restaurants, bars, parks, museums and the harbour to check out the boats and be near the water. We were invited to use the grounds and parking when we came into town. We called the office and talked to Robin with a few questions when we got to town. Wow, so nice and friendly with all the info we could get. This was our first time using Log Canoe Inn but most definitely we would love to come back next time we can get away. Thank you to Brittney & Jon for a great experience! Brittany HickeTotally recommend skippers cottage! We recently stayed with our little one over Labor Day weekend and had the best time. The drive into town is SO quick and the house is gorgeous!

Katherine PullarMy husband and I had a fabulous two night stay in the Lark Suite! Our room was clean and stocked with all the amenities we needed, including a hairdryer, towels, plush robes, extra blankets and nice drinking glasses. We loved being able to pop by the main house to grab drinks during our stay! The location was also exceptional. We walked all around town and never had to move the car! We would absolutely come back and stay at the Log Canoe Inn again.

Clay and Tracey DoubledayThe Log Canoe was everything we were hoping for. A very nice vintage house with all the amenities you could ask for in the main house living room. Very quaint individual rooms named after boats. The decor was beautiful, the location was right on the water and docks with a very short walk to town with lovely shops and restaurants. What a wonderful time we had Thank You.

Taylor MertzWe had a wonderful 3rd wedding anniversary spent at the Log Canoe Inn! We had a cozy room and a beautiful water view to wake up to each morning! The location was also incredible to everything in St. Michael’s and we didn’t have to drive our car a single time all weekend as everything was a quick walk! We would definitely come stay again!
