This was our second stay at the inn, our first under the new ownership. The only major change is that there is no longer a restaurant or bar but there are plenty of other options within walking distance or a short drive. Breakfast is provided grab and go style (bagels, pastries, yogurt, etc). There aren’t refrigerators in the rooms but there are communal refrigerators for guests to use. The entire staff was always friendly and helpful, George made sure we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful! The common areas and the room are tastefully updated but the location is the real draw. It is so peaceful and the sunsets on the water can’t be beat. We will continue to stay here whenever we visit the area.

Pros: clean room, beautiful views, great location, the limited staff that checked us in was good Cons: restaurant and bar permanently closed (be nice to advertise), hard to find anyone that works there, hard to find a good meal in the area unless to drive to St. Michaels. For $400+ a night expected more service

We had a great 2 night stay at the Tilghman Island Inn. The room, the view, the pool and staff were all spectacular. While the restaurant is not operating, the Inn allows you to place your own drinks and snacks in the lounge refrigerator; which saves money and provides flexibility. Convenient to have the bikes right on site. We have stayed exclusively at the Wylder for several seasons, but this year, we decided to give the Tilghman Inn a try. The rooms at the Tilghman Island Inn are several times nicer than those at the Wylder. The rooms are larger, the AC is much more quiet and not damp at all (Wylder AC units are older and humid), and the rooms and bathrooms are much larger. Highly recommend the water view rooms. The staff is so sweet and responsive and there are so many Adirondack chairs with fire pits it never feels crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kayaks l, jet skis, and paddle boards are available for rent about 50 yards away.

This is my second visit to this inn, and I have fallen in love with it. The warm atmosphere makes it welcoming and relaxing, and I particularly enjoy the beautifully decorated rooms. The owners clearly take great pride in their establishment, and it shows in every detail. I am already looking forward to returning to indulge in the incredible cuisine at the on-site restaurant.

This place is outstanding! The warm and inviting environment is perfect. Michael at the bar is second to none – a true gem of a bartender. The menu is spectacular and my personal favorites are the truffle Parmesan wings and the blue cheese burger. Outstanding!! Come check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

First time visiting. It was lovely. Clean and quiet. Scenic location. I would come back and recommend. Nice, thick bathroom towels. Comfortable bed. Stayed 2 nights.
