My Richmond, VA, friend and I stole away for a couple nights in Easton at this hotel. It was a delightful visit and the hotel was perfect. We stayed on the top floor and it was quiet. The staff were extremely accommodating. The restaurant was pleasant and the food very good (I recommend the fried green tomatoes). The hotel and its furnishings didn’t seem dated at all and we enjoyed its unpretentious feel . Nicely landscaped with outdoor seating for relaxation (its courtyard) or dining. We treated ourselves to the spa package and were delighted by our facials and massages. Located in the “movie set” downtown and walkable to many shops, fine dining and galleries, the rooms were clean and significantly less costly than other Eastern Shore properties. Excellent for a quick trip from DC, Northern Virginia, and, of course, Maryland! It was just what two old friends needed.

I brought my wife here to celebrate a few of her accomplishments and simply just to give her a free weekend. This place is beautiful. A lot of history in the area. A lot of nice shops around the Inn. The restaurant, wow. Put Tidewater Inn on your list.

Lovely hotel with tons of charm. Our room was a corner honeymoon suite on the third floor. It was ready for us to check in early at 12:30pm which was much appreciated! Very spacious and well appointed. Free small bottles of water, coffe and tea, plus some snacks and larger bottles of water for purchase. The king bed was very comfortable and the two AC units did a fantastic job keeping the room cool even though temps outside were in high 90s. Only complaint would be the TV could not be easily viewed from the sofa or bed. There were two chairs that did face it directly but I prefer to stretch out on the sofa. Hotel location was ight in the middle of town where all the quaint shops and restaurants were in walking distance. Staff was friendly. Lobby and front patio had plenty of seating. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Easton

The Inn is the perfect location to walk around Easton to shop or grab food & drink. Should you decide to stay close to the Inn; the Hunters Tavern & restaurant has plenty to please all appetites! Try the Spa or just relax in the inside common areas or the outside patio while listening to the fountain! The staff is wonderful. They will assist you with all your needs.

Located in the heart of downtown Easton, this historic hotel is a good place for first time visitors who want to be able to explore all that the town has to offer. We were in a family suite on the top floor and we were pleasantly surprised to walk into a very clean room, with a view right onto the front of the building. Staff were very friendly and it was great having fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. As we had a suite, space was not an issue, and the bed was comfortable enough. However, as other reviewers have noted, the bathrooms are tiny! What I did appreciate is that the shower stall was spacious with great water pressure. One other small negative was the noisy air conditioning. A big plus is that the hotel is (small) dog friendly.
