We give you three nights and a week-long carnival to help you celebrate America’s Independence!
With fireworks in three towns in two days, and all within 20 minutes of each other, you can get more bang for your weekend in Talbot County, Maryland! Come join the towns of Easton, Oxford, and St. Michaels as they celebrate America’s Independence Day. There’ll be a carnival atmosphere, vintage car parade, fireworks, and more.
Here’s what the schedule looks like for this year:
Easton Carnival & 4th of July Celebration

June 24 to July 3 | 6-10 p.m.
July 4 | 6 p.m. with fireworks at starting at dusk (around 9 p.m.)
Waterside Village at Easton Shopping Center (Behind the Target store) | Easton Parkway (Rt. 322) & St. Michaels Road
Enjoy a summer’s evening of amusement park rides, traditional carnival food, live music, and fireworks. On July 4th, the Carnival starts at 6 p.m. with musical favorite Everyday People starting at 7 p.m. The band plays classic soul, funk, R&B, jazz, and modern pop music. Dance the night away under the sparkle and glitter that only fireworks can bring.
Easton

Downtown Easton galleries and shops
Enjoy Easton’s local arts and music scene, retail shops, and restaurants during First Friday festivities. Galleries and shops extend their hours and welcome visitors to peruse and purchase before heading to a downtown restaurant or to hear a concert.
Pre-Independence Day Classic Motor Museum Parade
St. Michaels

Downtown & Talbot Street, St. Michaels
The Classic Motor Museum will hold its Annual Classic Motor Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 2 at 10:30 a.m. Participating cars line up at Perry Cabin Park, then cruise along Talbot Street, and end the parade at the museum at 102 E. Marengo Avenue where you can view the cars up close and talk with their owners.

In celebration of Independence Day, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum opens its doors for a night of live music at its Tolchester Beach Bandstand. Fireworks will launch after dusk, around 9 p.m., with CBMM’s waterfront campus a great venue from which guests can enjoy the spectacle. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs. There are also great viewing spots from local restaurants, parks, or come by boat and anchor out in the Miles River!

Sponsored by the Tred Avon Yacht Club, the Oxford fireworks show celebrates Independence Day on the “Strand” – the beautiful riverside street along the Tred Avon River – on July 3. Watch the sky light up with this beautiful fireworks display beginning at dusk, usually around 9 p.m. Bring your lawn chair and get a spot early!
