The Chesapeake Bay Chamber Music Festival – Where Artists, Audiences, and Acoustics Come Together in Downtown Easton, Maryland!
The Chesapeake Bay Chamber Music Festival, now in its 40th year, is held over the course of two-weeks each June at the beautifully restored Ebenezer Theater in downtown Easton. It is a celebration of the ensembles that take on varied periods and styles of music.
Everything audiences love about chamber music, including its intimacy and its variety, is heightened here in a 180-seat theater with finely-tuned acoustics. One of the best-loved aspects of this festival is the fact that musicians do not just simply play, bow and leave. Instead, they stay to field questions from the audience, engaging in an exciting give and take.
The festival is a ticketed event, but a free open rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4 and 11 at 10 a.m. Registration is requested. Please visit the Chamber Music Festival’s web site for a complete schedule, additional information, and to purchase tickets.
